Dog Breed: French Bulldog / Pug / Mixed. Age: 4 years Size: 20 lbs Estimated breed: French bulldog/Pug mix Lives with: Dogs, cats, older kids Ernie showed up to the shelter as a stray and surprisingly, was not reclaimed. Lucky for him, he was able to join us in foster care while we seek the best forever family! Ernie is a sweet, silly, lovable little frenchie who we think is mixed with pug - he has long, skinny legs not usually seen on french bulldogs! He loves playing with other dogs and absolutely adores the older child in his foster home - he follows him around like a baby duckling. He is crate trained and will sleep there quietly all night. While Ernie is healthy now, his future family will need to be prepared for future medical care that comes with owning a frenchie, which could include breathing issues, IVDD, and skin allergies. Ernie takes over the counter allergy medicine daily and fish oil to keep his skin clear!
