Dog Breed: Wheaten Terrier / Mixed (medium coat). Ozzy (A142368) is a 2-year-old soft-coated wheaten terrier mix who weighed over 100 lbs at intake! 06/06/26 This big, exuberant guy is Ozzy! Ozzy arrived at the shelter as a stray, so we do not know much about his history. At the shelter, Ozzy has been very excited to greet his care staff. He has also done well with keeping his kennel clean, indicating he may be housebroken! We have noticed that Ozzy can be selective about which dogs he prefers. From what we have seen at the shelter, he does not seem fond of other large dogs. Please use caution if planning to introduce him to a home with other dogs, and make sure any and all introductions are done in a slow, safe and controlled manner. We do not know how Ozzy does with kids or other animals, such as cat, so please use caution during those introductions as well. He may need some reminders on any training he has had, and enrolling him in a basic obedience class with a certified trainer can help him build a relationship with his new owners and become the best dog he can be!
