Description

Dog Breed: Golden Retriever. Rosie — Golden Retriever (Approx. 4 Years Old, ~50 lbs) Rosie is a very light cream dog — almost white — with soft golden shading in certain areas. Her photos may look slightly different depending on lighting, but in person, she is a pale, creamy ivory with gentle warm highlights. She was used for breeding Rosie is a sweet, joyful girl with a soft heart and a touch of puppy playfulness still in her. At around 4 years old and about 50 lbs, she’s the perfect mix of gentle affection and lighthearted fun. She spent her early years as a breeding mom, and now she’s finally getting the chance to learn what it feels like to be part of a real family. Rosie can be shy at first and may need a little time to adjust to new people and new surroundings. Once she feels safe, her personality blossoms — she becomes affectionate, playful, and eager to be near her people. She loves everyone: dogs, kids, and adults alike. Rosie will require a gentle, sweet resident dog in the home. Having another calm, friendly dog helps her confidence grow and gives her the reassurance she needs as she settles into a new environment. She’s ready for a home that will give her patience, love, and the companionship she’s been missing. Rosie is a wonderful fit for families who want a kind, social dog with a tender spirit and a playful side. Overview:

The Golden Retriever, a beloved breed originating from the Scottish Highlands in the mid-19th century, was developed for retrieving game from land and water. Physically, they are medium-sized dogs known for their striking golden-colored coats, ranging from cream to dark gold, which are dense and water-repellent. Their gentle eyes and friendly smiles are as characteristic as their feathered tails and strong, well-proportioned bodies. Temperamentally, Golden Retrievers are celebrated for their amiable, intelligent, and devoted nature, making them exceptionally patient and tolerant companions. This makes them superb family dogs, typically great with children and other pets, though their need for space and exercise means they are generally less suited for apartment living. While generally robust, they are prone to certain health concerns such as hip and elbow dysplasia, certain cancers, and eye conditions, making regular veterinary check-ups crucial for their long-term well-being.
