Nate is the kind of dog who quickly wins people over with his happy personality and devoted nature. He’s smart, alert, good-natured, affectionate, and always ready for the next adventure. He forms strong bonds with his people and loves being involved in whatever is happening, often following his favorite humans from room to room just to keep them company. Active and curious, Nate enjoys exploring, playing, and staying busy, making him an excellent companion for an individual or family looking for a loyal sidekick who is always up for fun. When it comes to social skills, Nate shines. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and enjoys playful interactions, so he would be happy sharing his home with a canine companion or soaking up all the attention as an only dog. Nate has also previously lived around cats and was reported to be respectful and well-mannered, making him a good candidate for a home with dog-savvy felines. While he has not yet been around children, his gentle, friendly nature with adults suggests he would likely enjoy having kids as part of his family. Nate is eager to please and has already made great progress with his training. He is responsive to direction, settles well in a crate for a few hours at a time, and has done exceptionally well with house training.
