Description
Dog Breed: Terrier / Mixed (medium coat). Grady and his 3 buddies are needing a new home since their person passed away and family members are unable to take them. Grady is neutered and up to date on vaccines and knows how to use a doggy door. He and Sebastian are great friends. They don't have to be adopted together, but it would be nice! "My Home to Yours" We have had numerous requests from citizens in our county to help them rehome their pets, but they are willing to keep them in the home until it happens, rather than bring them to the overflowing shelter at Campbell County Animal Control near Yellow Branch. We are listing those cats and dogs on our website as "My Home to Yours." We ask that interested adopters fill out the FOAC application, and we will pass it along to the family wanting to rehome. We cannot guarantee health, temperament, or behavior for these pets, as we have not met them. However, we are happy to act as a resource for issues that may arise. **For pets not spayed or neutered, we are happy to help set that up!

A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics.
