Summit is an approximately 1-year-old female who weighs the perfect 43 pounds—making her the ultimate “pocket pittie!” She has a stunning dark chocolate-brown coat and the sweetest face, framed by the most adorable ears that are impossible to resist. This smart girl already has a great foundation. Summit knows her basic commands, walks nicely on a leash, is crate and potty trained, and rides like the perfect copilot in the car. When it’s time to play, Summit is all in! She loves wrestling and romping with other dogs and would thrive in an active home where she can be part of all of life’s adventures. She’d especially love a family with kids to keep up with her fun-loving spirit. Whether it’s hiking a trail, exploring a new park, taking a road trip, or simply making everyday memories together, Summit is happiest when she’s with her people. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, adventure-ready best friend, Summit is ready to climb every mountain right by your side! All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.
