Dog Breed: American Staffordshire Terrier / English Bulldog / Mixed (short coat). I weigh 35 lbs, and I am looking for my forever home. Adoption Donation: $500 Meet Moonpie! This pint-sized, petite American Staffordshire-terrier/English-bulldog mix is a whole lot of sparkle packed into a tiny, spunky body. Shes potty trained, crate trained, and leash trained, rides great in the car, and is already showing off how smart and food-motivated she is—this girl LOVES to learn. Moonpie is social, silly, and full of charm. She loves people and enjoys other dogs. She would do best with a canine companion who matches her age, play style, or energy level. She absolutely loves having dog friends, but with older or lower-energy dogs, she can sometimes be a little too enthusiastic. The good news? She's very respectful and takes corrections beautifully, making her a wonderful candidate for a multi-dog home with the right match. She's the type of dog who wants to be wherever you are, whether that's on an adventure, a walk, or just hanging out looking cute (and yes, she absolutely loves dressing up and being adored). She can do apartment life with good exercise, but she really shines with space to zoom and explore. Fun, affectionate, and full of personality, Moonpie is the kind of dog who doesn't just walk into your life—she steals the spotlight. Come meet her... youll fall in love fast. All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are recommended. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble.
