Dog Breed: American Staffordshire Terrier / Mixed (medium coat). Cazz (A143014) is a 5-year-old Am Staffordshire Terrier mix who weighed 95.1 pounds on intake! 08/06/26 This friendly guy is Cazz! Cazz was surrendered to the shelter due to no fault of his own and is now looking for his new place to call home! He is a big guy with lots of kisses to give! Cazz did complete a basic obedience class in 2024 and has the certificate to prove it! He is eager to show off the command “sit”, especially with a treat involved. He also knows the command “watch me” and his owner used that a reset for when he would get a bit too rambunctious. Cazz was also said to be kennel-trained and housebroken (he will whine at the door when he needs to go outside). He was described as a people please and was known to be a bit anxious (he really likes having his people nearby). However, it was noted that he settles down after a couple of minutes in a new environment or when people visited his home. Cazz was said to do well with babies, children, and adults. Cazz was also said to do well with other dogs as long as appropriate introductions were made. He has no experience living with cats. If you are interested in meeting Cazz, please let us know!
