Description
Dog Breed: Golden Retriever / Poodle (Miniature) / Mixed. Please read the entire description before applying Lola is a 4½monthold, 15lb Goldendoodle puppy who came to us after being found as a stray and taken to the shelter. Despite her rough start, Lola shines with classic retriever charm — spirited, social, and full of happy energy. She loves people, seeks out affection, and greets everyone like a friend she hasn’t met yet. She’s a bright, friendly girl who adapts quickly, enjoys being included in daily life, and has that joyful, bouncy personality doodles are known for. Lola gets along well with other dogs and thrives in a home where she can be part of the action. Lola is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and will be spayed on September 1st. She will be ready to leave for adoption the weekend of September 5th. A **$50 deposit is required to hold her** once your application is approved. This deposit is applied toward the adoption fee. Adoption Fee: $550 Adoption Requirements A fenced-in backyard is required (no invisible fences). If your condo/HOA does not allow a fence, alternative options may be considered case by case. Someone must be home more during the day to devote time to a puppy. Children in the household must be 7 years or older. Families with no dogs or one dog will be considered (no multiple-dog households). You agree to use a puppy pen, not a crate. Approved applicants will receive information on pens we will approve Applicants must live in Indiana or neighboring states. We do not transport or ship puppies. Application Process Submit your application online. If you seem like a good fit, you’ll be contacted within 72 hours. Applications are not approved on a first-come, first-served basis. We carefully review each one to find the best fit for our puppies. A $ 50 deposit will hold the puppy of your choice. Our adoption process does not include a separate meet and greet. We will not schedule meetandgreet appointments prior to adoption. Once an applicant is fully approved and the deposit is placed, we mark the puppy as pending, you order the required supplies, and then the adoption and introduction happen in one appointment. You take your puppy home the same day. If you meet the puppy and decide not to adopt, the $50 deposit is refunded.

Breed overview
Overview:
The Miniature Goldendoodle is a charming designer breed, a delightful cross between the gentle Golden Retriever and the intelligent Miniature Poodle. Originating in the late 20th century, primarily as a hypo-allergenic guide dog, they quickly gained popularity as beloved family companions. Physically, they are compact and sturdy, typically weighing between 15-35 pounds and standing 13-20 inches tall. Their coats can range from wavy to curly, and come in various shades of gold, cream, apricot, and red, often shedding minimally, making them a good option for those with allergies. Temperamentally, they are known for their friendly, affectionate, and playful nature, inheriting the best traits from both parents – the Golden's loyalty and the Poodle's cleverness. This makes them highly trainable and excellent with children and other pets, proving suitable for both active families and those in apartment settings, provided they receive adequate exercise. While generally healthy, potential health concerns include conditions common to their parent breeds, such as hip and elbow dysplasia, and certain eye conditions, emphasizing the importance of responsible breeding. Their adaptability and loving disposition make the Miniature Goldendoodle a wonderful addition to many homes.
