Ladybug is a 16-month-old Cavapoo weighing just 9.8 pounds, and she’s just beginning her journey with Canine Castaways. Ladybug came to us through an owner surrender, and right now she’s understandably a little unsure about all the changes in her world. She is very shy, but there doesn’t appear to be an aggressive bone in her body. Ladybug needs a little time to watch, adjust, and figure out that the people around her mean her no harm. So far, she’s been good with other dogs, and having canine friends around may help give her confidence as she settles into her new surroundings. Because Ladybug is brand new to us, we’re still getting to know her. We don’t yet know all the little things that will eventually make up her story: what makes her tail wag the hardest, her favorite treats, whether she’s a couch potato or a secret zoomie champion, or exactly what kind of family will ultimately be her perfect match.
