Dog Breed: Unknown breed. Meet Ricky! Ricky is an adorable 10-month-old puppy with a BIG personality packed into a smaller package! His exact breed mix is a mystery, but we think he looks like a miniature Doberman—and he is just as cute as can be. Ricky is a silly, goofy boy who loves to have fun. He is a huge fan of zoomies, playing, and making everyone around him laugh. He’s great with other dogs, absolutely loves children, and would make such a fun addition to an active family. Ricky has also been tested with cats and does well with them. However, he is still a playful puppy and thinks chasing can be a pretty fun game, so a dog-savvy cat who won’t be bothered by his puppy antics—or a home without kitties—would probably be the best fit. At only 10 months old, Ricky still has plenty of puppy energy and learning ahead of him, but he has so much love to give. He’s sweet, social, goofy, and always ready for his next adventure. Whether he’s racing around with the zoomies, playing with his dog friends, hanging out with the kids, or soaking up attention from his people, Ricky is happiest just being part of the fun. United Doberman Rescue Adoption Process Application Submission: Complete the adoption application thoroughly. Incomplete applications may be denied.(uniteddobermanrescue) We are 100% volunteer, please read adoption requirements BEFORE reaching out to us. Home Visit: A volunteer will schedule a home visit to assess the environment and discuss your expectations. All household members, including children, must be present.(uniteddobermanrescue) Veterinary Reference Check: Provide contact information for your current veterinarian. All existing pets must be spayed/neutered, current on vaccinations, and on heartworm preventative.(uniteddobermanrescue) Meeting Dogs: Once approved, you'll have the opportunity to meet adoptable dogs in their foster homes. If you have a resident dog, consult with the foster about bringing them along. Adoption Finalization: If a suitable match is found, you'll sign an adoption contract and pay the adoption fee. Due to COVID-19 precautions, same-day adoptions are currently permitted. Key Adoption Policies Age Requirement: Adopters must be at least 21 years old and reside in the home where the dog will live.(uniteddobermanrescue) WE do NOT ship our dogs ever!!! Children: Adult dogs are not placed in homes with children under 6 years old. Training Commitment: Adopters should be prepared to continue training and socialization. Adopters should be financially prepared for potential veterinary expenses and consider pet insurance.
