Lady Charlotte Litters: Ethical, Boutique, Single Dam, AKC Shih Tzu Breeders in Central Ohio I was raised in rural Northwest Ohio on five acres and am a third-generation AKC breeder. We had a small kennel of Shih Tzus and raised them from 1989-2006 including showing some of our dogs locally for our 4-H club. I began breeding in 1991 alongside my parents and continued until 1999. We added Lady Charlotte (Lottie) to our family in 2020 and I could immediately recognize that not only would she be a loved member of our family, but her markings, stature, and disposition would make her an excellent dam. With Lottie, my family has begun breeding Shih Tzus again now in 2022 with my husband, this time in a Central Ohio suburb instead of on a farm. Thirty years ago I fell in love with this beautiful, sweet, and haughty little breed and am committed to continuing the breed standard and to raising high-quality, healthy puppies just as I did growing up.
