Looking for a Siberian Husky for adoption in Galveston? Kirk is a stunning example of the Siberian Husky dog breed. He is intelligent, very loving, athletic and a great companion. At just 4 years of age, Kirk is very healthy. He has been neutered and is up to date on his vaccinations. Kirk is not the dog for everyone, and is currently living with the right owner, but in the wrong situation. He needs a loving home with a great big, securely fenced yard (or an acreage) in which to run and play. Currently, his owner is a medical student living in a small condo – not the best situation for an energetic dog like Kirk. Kirk needs owners who have the time and space to give him the exercise and stimulation he needs and very much deserves. Kirk needs a home where he is the only pet. Like many Huskies, he has a strong prey drive, which makes him unsuitable for a home with cats, small animals or small dogs. He would be fine with children older than 10. Kirk’s owner loves him so much. He is heart-broken at having to find Kirk a loving new home, but realizes that he is unable to give this beautiful dog the environment and attention he needs to be safe, happy and healthy.
