Posted Breed: Siberian Husky. Online Adoption Application › Maco is a courtesy post. Here is what this caretaker has to say: Maco is 4 years old this month. He walks well on leash and is house trained. He does well with other dogs, not tested with cats. He takes a bit to warm up to people before he’s sure you are friendly. Rides in car fine once he is in but requires reassurance and extra time to get into car sometimes. Although coming back from the vet he jumped right in! He tested positive for Lyme disease so he is currently on 30 days of antibiotics to ensure he doesn’t develop any complications. He is heart worm negative and on preventative. Haven’t tried younger kids but he loves sleeping in bed with my 16 year old but will also sleep in a crate without a problem. He loves his soft toys and doesn’t tear them up like other huskies?? He has a soft mouth for treats and sits on command. He loves scratches and being brushed. Next to a friend to play with it’s his favorite thing in the world. We took him in because a neighbor was going through a divorce and unable to keep him in his new lodgings. We have 5 dogs already so are unable to keep another one. We just thought Maco was extra sweet and deserved to find a good home so he will hang out with us until we find the perfect place!
