After a few sightings they were picked up by animal control and taken to the shelter. It's amazing neither were struck by a vehicle given the busy roads they were traveling! After their stray hold was over, they were in danger of being euthanized because of overcrowding. So they're now members of H-E-A-R-T and searching for furever homes! Jackson is one of the smartest boys! He picks up things super fast. He'll need a secure fenced in yard and a canine playmate - or he can be adopted with Ally. Jackson is a woooo'er and likes to sing. He's 1.5-2 years old, heartworm negative, microchipped, vaccinated and healthy. He had a scab on his nose when he was picked up, but it has healed now. We find this a huge benefit because we learn our dogs and are able to educate our adopters on what it’s like to have them live in your home.
