Diane Carter is from Texas and breeds Yorkshire Terriers.
I am a home breeder who only has a few litters a year. My whole family (husband and 5 kids) helps with caring for the dogs and puppies, so they are very comfortable around people of all ages and other animals. They are kept indoors at all times, other then supervised visits to the yard. They breastfeed for at least the first 6 weeks of their life and are introduced to solid food slowly over time while still breastfeeding. We also begin pad training as soon as they start walking. We have two females we breed ( one will have her first litter the beginning of March 2019, the other has had multiple litters) and one stud. They are all three our family pets and are spoiled along with the puppies. Our stud is a golden and the females are more traditional coloring, so we get lots of fun combination puppies.
AKC proudly supports dedicated and responsible breeders. We encourage all prospective puppy owners to do their research and be prepared with questions to ask the breeder. Make sure you are not only choosing the right breed for you, but also that you’re getting it from the right individual.

Sophie is our golden colored female. She is everybodies favorite because of her adorable face and fluffy body. She loves to be held and to play outside. She also enjoys other animals and is great with kids. She is working on pad training. She weighs approximately 2 pounds and should be about 5 pounds full grown. She is AKC registerable and will provide unlimited registration so she might make a great dam to her own puppies someday.

Bella Faith is an adorable 3 year old traditional purebred AKC registered Yorkie with thick hair and a quiet disposition. She is a wonderful dam to her puppies with lots of milk for breastfeeding and a natural ability for nurturing. She started in the 5-6 pound range before having puppies, but has increased her weight (which is normal and healthy) since having her third litter.

Romeo Augustus is our tiny 3 1/2 pound golden colored stud. He has the sweetest disposition and will be the first to climb in our laps. Because of his golden color when he is bred with our traditional colored females, we get some fun combinations of golden and traditional puppies.
