    Breed: Border-Aussie
    Sex: Male Male
    Age: Adult
    Location: Dallas, TX
Posted Breed: Australian Shepherd / Border Collie / Mixed. Howdy, I'm Hoss and just like my Bonanza namesake I'm a gentle giant who'd do anything for my family. I'm a 54lb, 6 yr old Aussie mix, Just look at my beautiful silver markings!!! I'm eager to please and full of fun. I love cuddles and my tail is always wagging. I know how to sit, and I'm learning shake and stay. I am house trained/crate trained and I love going on car rides. I know how to sit nicely in the truck cab and enjoy the view. My gorgeous smile will win you over and my big goofy paws and fluffy wiggle butt would love to find a place to rest at your home. I'm a good pub dog and enjoy going out to places with my foster mom. I have a sad back story in that my human momma and poppa both died and I was left chained up on a rural property until a kind rescue group stepped in and got me to safety before the cold weather set in. I'm eager to please and promise to be loyal to you for the rest of my days. How bout we meet up sometime soon?

    Breed: Border-Aussie
    Sex: Female Female
    Age: Adult
    Location: Sebec, ME
Posted Breed: Australian Shepherd / Border Collie / Mixed (medium coat). Please contact Jenny Cope (giveadogahome@live.com) for more information about this pet. All pets adopted out will be spay/neutered, micro-chipped, de-wormed,heartworm tested, rabies and relevant vaccinations. NO DOG WILL BE ADOPTED TO BE AN OUTSIDE DOG! Monthly Heartworm preventative, and monthly flea/tick preventative must be administered throughout the course of the dogs life. The adoption donation of dogs may vary. Please check out each individual dogs information for the minimum donation amount. The Application can be downloaded from the website, or feel free to email to request one. www.giveadogahome-sanantonio.org Indepth application, references and a home check will be required before adoption is completed. Anyone wanting to adopt a German Shepherd MUST have knowledge about their needs. These are very intelligent dogs that need lots of exercise, both physically and mentally. Please discuss and consider if you are now, and will be in the foreseable future, in a financial position to provide to the dogs needs, unexpected vet bills, and common health issues specific to the breed. Please take the time to read all information provided as it could answer some questions you may have. SPLASH was saved from Texas where most shelters have to kill dogs for space after just 3 days. She is located at the rescue in Sebec, Maine. We post in other states and Canada where our dogs get adopted. SPLASH is spayed, rabies, core vaccines, de-wormed, heartworm & tick-disease tested (Snap 4dx) negative and micro-chipped.She weighs around 40 pounds and has an estimated date of birth of 3 November 2014. The shelter have her listed as a cattle dog/Australian Shepherd, however, she looks more like a Border Collie mix to me. Whatever she is, she is a working breed dog and will need a lot of mental and physical exercise. SPLASH can be a bit nervous in new environments initially, but soon gains her confidence. She is great with other dogs although does show slight alpha tendencies. Once she has accepted her human she bonds very quickly and likes to be by their side as much as she can. She does play with the other dogs and is happy with both big and small dogs, but can get a little protective if they come near her human. She is very sweet and affectionate and will make a great family pet to an active family. We do not have cats at the rescue so cannot comment how she would behave around them. SPLASH would benefit from an active, fun family that has the time to work with her on her obedience and manners, who would take her on adventures and road trips and let her explore the sights, sounds and smells the world has to offer. She would benefit from a family that has the time to work with her on basic and advanced obedience training. By working together both SPLASH and her humans can learn each others body language and personality, expectations and boundaries can be set and with self-training a stronger bond formed. We currently feed SPORTMIX Wholesomes Chicken Meal & Rice Formula, a 4* (a per www.dogfoodadvisor.com) GRAIN FREE food along with pro-bioitics and immune support supplements listed on the available dogs page! SPLASH is available for adoption through Give a Dog a Home, German Shepherd Dog Rescue for an adoption fee of $500. This fee is not negotiable and is used to cover the rescue costs of pulling, vetting, health certificate, transport from Texas to Maine, monthly preventatives, supplements, food and anything else that is needed. If you feel that you have the heart and home to give this precious soul a wonderful life, please go to our website, under the APPLICATION tab, complete, then submit the APPLICATION. Our process takes around 2-4 days, and ensuring your references are aware that we will be calling, could speed up the process. Once you have been approved, we discuss any questions in regards to the dog you are wanting to adopt, then you complete and submit the contract, make payment and then we can work out the pick up / transport arrangements. Please do NOT submit an application if you are not looking to take home a new best friend within the next few weeks. http://www.giveadogahome-sanantonio.org SPLASH is located at the rescue in Sebec, Maine. We post in various states along the east coast and Canada where we have had lots of successful adoptions to enable more exposure for these beautiful saved souls. Families will need to be prepared to travel to the rescue to meet and take home their new best friend. There is a local hotel in Dover-Foxcroft that is pet-friendly (approx 6 miles) and several in Bangor (approx 45 miles). There are also lots of wonderful camp-sites for the more adventurous families and what a great way to get to know your new best friend. If there are options to arrange transport, we will work with you to make it happen. Breed: Border-Aussie
    Sex: Male Male
    Age: Senior
    Location: Incline Village, NV
Posted Breed: Border Collie / Australian Shepherd / Mixed. *** COURTESY LISTING *** PLEASE CALL OR E-MAIL THE PERSON LISTED. DO NOT CONTACT WARF AS WE HAVE NO FURTHER INFO. Toby is a 13 yr old Border Collie/Aussie mix. Neutered, current on shots. Weighing approx. 45-50 pounds. Toby Loves People! All he wants is to be brushed and petted and have some attention. He loves walking on a leash and even at 13 he has great energy. His leash skills need a little tuning up, as he will occasionally jump at a car, but he is trainable and has a high recall off leash. He has some vision problem that don't see to bother him, but he does become anxious when left alone. He would do best with someone who works from home or is retired or can take him to work. He currently lives outside but was previously indoor and outdoor, so is likely housebroken, but may just may need a little refresher course. He is good with dogs and kids, though will chase small animals, so not recommended in a home with cats. He can get over excited, but with regular exercise and attention that would stop. Toby is as sweet and gentle as you could ask for, all he wants is love. Toby's elderly owner had to move to a senior facility that would not allow him. Please make his remaining years safe, fun and happy. The current "guardians" are willing to pay any medical bills to make him ready for a new home. Contact Sarah: sarah.white121991@gmail.com, 916-912-5135. Toby is currently residing in Galt, CA. Help with transportation to his new home (within reasonable driving distance) can be arranged.

Posted Breed: Border Collie / Australian Shepherd / Mixed (short coat). I love other dogs & all people! I will be available for adoption on March 19th. I cannot have any visitors before March 19th. You will need to fill out an online application and receive a phone call back from a staff member that everything is ok with the application prior to March 19th. All family members and any dogs from the household need to be present at the time of the adoption. We open at 11 am Sunday mornings and we will be helping adoptions in the order of when they submitted an approved application to us. There will be a sign in sheet on the front door at 10:30 am so that we can pull applications for the people that arrive between 10:30-11am. Again, the order in which adoptions will come in to the shelter to see any adoptable dogs or cats first thing on Sunday mornings will be as to when the application was submitted to Animal House Shelter so there is no need to come to the shelter any earlier than 10:30 to sign in. This will be the procedure for people that arrive between 10:30-11am. After 11am, on Sunday mornings it will be first come, first serve after we help all of the adoptions that signed in between 10:30-11am. Most people submit general applications to us which do not specify a name or a particular litter they are interested in so there is no way for us to know until people arrive Sunday morning at 10:30 how many people are interested in a particular litter, puppy, kitten, cat or adult dog. We always have around 300 dogs & cats available for adoption and the adoption counselors will help you to find the right companion for your family! We look forward to meeting you! Adoption donation: $350 All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested and started on Tri Heart Plus & Vectra 3D. Please fill out the adoption application and call 847-961-5541 with any additional questions. Posted Breed: Australian Shepherd / Border Collie / Mixed. Please contact April (adopt@agaperescue.org) for more information about this pet. Molly Girl is the name, and cuteness is my game! Don’t let me puppy face fool you, I’m a 4 year old, 14 lb, border collie/mini aussie mix. Some of my favorite things to do are play with my foster doggie sibling and sleep. I am a pretty laid back girl, but I can also be a little shy at first so it will take a little time for me to come out of my shell. Because I am a little shy, I would prefer a home without and children under the age of 6. I can’t wait to warm up to you and show you my cute, loving personality! Posted Breed: Australian Shepherd / Border Collie / Mixed. Hi there, I'm Dewey! I am a 7 week old pup! My mom is a Aussie/Border Collie mix girl, but we have no idea what my dad was! It is hard to guess how big I will be when I'm grown up, so I'm a bit of a mystery! I am all puppy- curious, playful, entertaining, and a lot of work. I am looking for a forever home that will provide me with the love and guidance I need. I will need lots of obedience training to shape me into a well behaved, canine citizen. Puppies require and deserve a lot of time and energy, but I will repay my family with a life time of unconditional love and happiness. I am looking for a family to make my best friend for life! If you are interested in me please fill out and online application at www.dogsaver.org/k9srl and my foster mom will contact you!
