    Age: Adult
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: German Shepherd Dog (medium coat). Please contact Adoption (coastalgsrsd@gmail.com) for more information about this pet. Rocky and Rane are two brothers who had a tendency to run away from home. When a good Samaritan picked them up the last time and brought them home, they were told they were no longer wanted. Thankfully, the community contacted Coastal and asked if we could help. We could, and we did. Now they are waiting for a home that will give them the safety they need, a nice yard with a secure fence where they can play when they want, a home where they can be with their family as family members, not just yard ornaments. If we were to describe them in one word, it would be “awesome.” If we could use two words, it would be “awesome pair.” They are like twins who walk in step with each other, hear the same sound at the same moment, and share from the same bowl. They have spent the first three years of their lives together and it would be very nice to keep them together. If that is not possible, they would do best in a home with another doggie companion. Please help us find these dogs the furever home they so deserve! Please visit http://www.coastalgsrsd.org/to learn more about our dogs. Click on available dogs to see further descriptions. Like most German Shephards she is smart and learns quickly. She loves humans and is great with other dogs. We have not yet tested her with children or cats but she is such a happy girl and was such a good momma to her 7 puppies, we can’t imagine that she will have a problem. Nayla came to rescue due to a housing crisis with her owners. Please consider bringing this darling lady into your home. She will make a loving gentle companion and pet. McGwire

    rescue
    Breed: German Shepherd Dog
    Sex: Male Male
    Age: Adult
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: German Shepherd Dog (medium coat). Please contact Adoption (coastalgsrsd@gmail.com) for more information about this pet. Who is McGwire ? He was turned in by his owner and is around six years old, but don’t let the age fool you, or the few extra pounds he carries. He can jump in the kennel to get your attention, and that’s exactly what he did in the shelter. Every time a person would get in his view, he would jump and bark to get their attention. They moved him to the back out of public viewing because he was only getting negative attention. When the shelter became full, they needed to clear out some kennels, and his number came up. Thankfully the shelter called us to rescue him before he was scheduled to leave this earth. McGwire is the type who seems to be always thinking and on the move, so an active life for him would be good. No marathons, but no couch potato either. Thanks to our volunteers, we were able to bring him in under cover of almost darkness. The more dogs he meets, the more he wags his beautiful tail. He is one happy and lucky boy. Please visit http://www.coastalgsrsd.org/to learn more about our dogs. Click on available dogs to see further descriptions.
