    Age: Young

Posted Breed: Labrador Retriever / Golden Retriever / Mixed (long coat). Adoption Fee: $300.00. Online Adoption Application › Molly is a courtesy listing - for questions about her you can contact Kristine Bell @ 937-344-4149 or kbellombud@hotmail.com Below is a bio from Kristine about Molly: Good golly, sweet, sweet Molly!!! Molly is a very friendly dog with humans and other dogs once she gets comfortable in a new environment. We're not sure how she is with cats. Her current foster mom has 4 other rescue dogs ranging in size from 5 -50 lbs. She loves to play...and play...and play some more before she will want to cuddle up with you in your lap. Her previous owner had young children and so we think she is well behaved around young children. Molly was found wandering the streets in a small town north of Sanford, NC. Her foster mom took her and in and got her checked out by a local vet. Per the vet, she is about 3 years old and spayed. The vet also gave her a rabies shot. Molly was diagnosed with Eurlichea, Roundworms, Lyme and heartworms. She is currently being treated for the roundworms, Eurlichea and Lyme and we've started her on a plan to address the heartworms. All is all, she is a wonderfully sweet baby girl who deserves a loving, forever home.

Posted Breed: Labrador Retriever / Golden Retriever / Mixed. NAME: Jake MALE BREED: Poss. Lab / Golden Mix BIRTH DATE: Approx. 01/01/2012 HOUSE TRAINED: Yes VETTING DONE: 1st vaccs: 9/19/2017 Dewormed: 9/19/2017 30 day topical de-flea: 9/14/2017 Heartworm tested: 9/21/2017 NEG Neutered: 9/06/2017 Rabies Vacc: 9/21/2017 Microchipped: 9/21/2017 GETS ALONG WITH OTHER CATS/DOGS? Cats: Gets along well with both cats & dogs! Jake is a larger dog and loves to play, so larger playmates would be preferable! CHILDREN? Unknown - foster home does not have young children under 12 SPECIAL NEEDS: N/A BIO: Jake was found calmly sitting in front of a grocery store in North Little Rock. After unsuccessfully trying to find his human parents, Jake became an OOTW foster pup. Jake is a very sweet and loving goofball that loves playing with other dogs, loves spending time with his humans, and really loves GOOD GRUB!! He also enjoys hanging out on the pup patio at Diamond Bear Brewery and using his big brown eyes to get pettings from the guests and treats from the workers! Jake is used to being mostly indoor (goes outdoor to potty) and sleeps in a kennel at night. Jake does get a little nervous during storms, if kenneled (I think he wants to make sure his people are safe). Jake is an excellent pup, having never torn up a single thing or used the bathroom a single time inside the house. Jake gets a little bummed when he’s bored, so if your lifestyle has room for Jake to come along, he’d be an ideal companion! The number of individual inquiries is overwhelming and we are finding it difficult to respond to each one. We cannot guarantee you will receive a timely response. Paws New England is a rescue, not a shelter, and as such we do not have our dogs housed in one location - they are in foster homes both in New England and in our southern foster homes. If you're interested in a specific dog, please complete a short online application and you will receive a reply within 48 hours so you can ask questions. At present, if a dog is listed on our website, the dog is considered still available HOWEVER, may have applications that have come in before yours but it's still too early to know if any are a good match; therefore we encourage you to apply. NOTICE WITH REGARD TO LOCATION OF DOGS: Please note: Paws New England is a foster-based rescue. We do not have a brick and mortar building to house the dogs we rescue. We have found that dogs in foster homes are much more adoptable because they have been observed in a home setting. Dogs listed with Paws New England typically reside in various locations throughout the south (primarily Tennessee, Texas, and Arkansas) and New England (not necessarily in the state of Rhode Island). You will be notified by the adoption coordinator of the location of the dog you are interested in so you have the ability to decide whether to pursue adoption or not. Dogs transported to New England are done so at a fee of $150.00 paid directly to the transporting company by Paws New England; no additional transport costs are responsibility of adopter. This fee is included in the adoption donation. Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary. Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your dog will help others in need. All known information about the animal is listed above. We do our best to give accurate information, but most of our dogs are rescues and do not come with a known history. Paws New England abides by the dog importation regulations set forth in the states of MA, CT, NH and RI.

    Corky

    rescue
    Breed: Golden Labrador
    Sex: Male Male
    Age: Young
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Golden Retriever / Labrador Retriever / Mixed. This golden boy is Corky! He is a 1.5 year old Golden Retriever Lab mix looking for his forever home. Corky quickly settled into his foster home. His foster dad says he is VERY loving and just wants to be around his foster family, calmly waiting for attention or pats at their feet. He has been fostered with another female dog and does well with her and other dogs. Corky is young and energetic; he would like to join an active family where he will get plenty of playtime and exercise. He gets very excited about outings and is learning leash manners, but he is calm and quiet in the house. He rides well in the car and is house and crate trained. His foster family says he is smart and learns quickly, he is working on some basic commands and his leash training with them. If you are ready for the rewarding experience that comes when you adopt a dog to add to your family and are interested in meeting Corky, your first step is to fill out an adoption application on our website. Your dog adoption includes the altering of the dog, current vaccinations, and microchipping. For more information on the dog adoption donation and our adoption process, please visit our website at www.labsandmore.org. You will find our free online dog adoption application there as well. Once you are approved to adopt a dog or puppy, we will discuss how to meet our available dogs. Our dogs are NOT housed at our mailing address in San Diego. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit, all-volunteer organization located in Southern California. Thank you for reaching out to adopt a rescue dog in need of hope!

Leah – Female – 8 years old – GRRALL #0640 Update: 1/3/2018: Update 1/2/18: Leah has finished her heartworm treatment and should be ready for adoption soon. Her foster mom report ... s she is sweet, so easy, and lovable! Update 11/6/17: Leah is a sweetheart, she rarely barks and is very laid back. Leah enjoys going for a walk and loves to be loved on. She is very easy dog and gets along great with foster fur-brother. If you are interested in fostering or adopting Leah please submit an application at https://grralliance.org/applications/adoption-application/ ### Welcome Leah to GRRALL! Our new girl is a Golden/Lab mix, about 8 years old, surrendered to a local high kill shelter when her people decided having a dog was too much responsibility. Leah is heartworm positive and will require treatment, simply because she was not given preventative medicine. She is super sweet and thrilled to be sprung from the shelter; she rode great in the car on her freedom ride to the vet. Leah has the typical golden personality and is happy to start her new life, but this time with people who will love and care for her forever. Leah will receive a full medical check-up, have her heartworm disease accessed and a treatment plan developed, and is already on the road to recovery. We will post more about Leah as we get to know her better. Leah will need a special foster home to keep her safe and quiet during her heartworm treatment. If you are interested in fostering or adopting Leah please submit an application at https://grralliance.org/applications/adoption-application/ GRRALL serves the Dallas-Fort Worth/North Texas area. We do not adopt outside this region and do not ship dogs. If you are out of our area please contact your local Golden Retriever Rescue, local independent adoption groups, shelters, humane society, or other group to find your perfect forever friend.

Posted Breed: Golden Retriever / Labrador Retriever / Mixed. Adoption Fee: 175. If interested in any of our animals for adoption, or to foster an animal, please fill out the respective application here to get the process started. Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. Jan ended up in a shelter when her owner passed away. A terrific foster with LDDR has just brought her home and is hoping someone with a sweet, patient heart will offer this sweet girl a comfortable, safe place to live out her remaining time. It is hard to believe the age on her license, because she has so much get up and go! She does not appear to be able to hear, so will need her owners to approach her considerately to avoid startling her. We will share more as we get to know her better, but if you have a heart for the seniors, please consider filling out an application and bringing Jan home.‚Äč Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by.
