    Age: Young

Posted Breed: Labrador Retriever / Golden Retriever / Mixed. This beauty is Cole! Cole is an adorably sweet 1-year-old mix who had no problems settling into his foster home. This sweet boy came to Labs and More with a skin infection and he already looks better. He is putting on a few more healthy pounds in his foster home and can't wait to meet you and start sharing his abundant love. If you think you are ready to adopt a dog to add to your family and are interested in meeting Cole (or any of our other dogs), your first step is to fill out an adoption application on our website. Your dog adoption includes the altering of the dog, current vaccinations, and microchipping. For more information on the dog adoption donation and our adoption process, please visit our website at www.labsandmore.org. You will find our free online dog adoption application there as well. Once you are approved to adopt a dog or puppy, we will discuss how to meet our available dogs. Our dogs are NOT housed at our mailing address in San Diego. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit, all-volunteer organization located in Southern California. Thank you for reaching out to adopt a rescue dog in need of hope!

Posted Breed: Golden Retriever / Labrador Retriever / Mixed (medium coat). URGENT-HELP NEEDED Illinois & Wisconsin... WE ARE IN NEED OF FOSTER HOMES FOR ADULT DOGS, PREGNANT DOGS & PUPPIES! TAKE YOUR PICK- MANY TO CHOOSE FROM AGES 6 WEEKS TO 3 YEARS. Licensed by the state of Illinois & Wisconsin #266969-DS- 501C3 NON-PROFIT K9 Lifeline Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit, State Licensed, all volunteer organization based out of SE WI who are reaching out to the public for more foster homes. The Rescue is down to our lowest number of foster homes in 5 years. Sadly, the demand for more homes is high, in large part due to the struggling economy and the added burden of homeless dogs in area Shelters. K9 Lifeline Rescue+ volunteer foster homes can request either large, medium or small breed dogs or puppies to foster and can also specify a certain breed. K9LLR provides our foster homes with crates. We also vaccinate and alter all of our dogs and puppies at the expense of the Rescue. You as the foster family, simply provide a safe, loving home for a dog in need until a permanent home is found. In addition to our dire need of more foster homes, we also have a great need for volunteers able to assist with transporting of the pups from one place to another- we reimburse $$ for transports! We also have the need for website maintenance, AND someone who has the "knack" to find us more veterinarians to help us! For more information e-mail K9LifelineRescue@aol.com or visit our website www.K9Lifeline.com (ALL the pups in the pictures have been ADOPTED- however, there are many, many more that look the same in dire need of being put to sleep every day due to lack of Rescue and Foster Homes.)

Lab / Golden Mix BIRTH DATE: Approx. 01/01/2012 HOUSE TRAINED: Yes VETTING DONE: 1st vaccs: 9/19/2017 Dewormed: 9/19/2017 30 day topical de-flea: 9/14/2017 Heartworm tested: 9/21/2017 NEG Neutered: 9/06/2017 Rabies Vacc: 9/21/2017 Microchipped: 9/21/2017 GETS ALONG WITH OTHER CATS/DOGS? Cats: Gets along well with both cats & dogs! Jake is a larger dog and loves to play, so larger playmates would be preferable! CHILDREN? Unknown - foster home does not have young children under 12 SPECIAL NEEDS: N/A BIO: Jake was found calmly sitting in front of a grocery store in North Little Rock. After unsuccessfully trying to find his human parents, Jake became an OOTW foster pup. Jake is a very sweet and loving goofball that loves playing with other dogs, loves spending time with his humans, and really loves GOOD GRUB!! He also enjoys hanging out on the pup patio at Diamond Bear Brewery and using his big brown eyes to get pettings from the guests and treats from the workers! Jake is used to being mostly indoor (goes outdoor to potty) and sleeps in a kennel at night. Jake does get a little nervous during storms, if kenneled (I think he wants to make sure his people are safe). Jake is an excellent pup, having never torn up a single thing or used the bathroom a single time inside the house. Jake gets a little bummed when he’s bored, so if your lifestyle has room for Jake to come along, he’d be an ideal companion! Breed: Golden Labrador
    Sex: Male Male
    Age: Adult
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Labrador Retriever / Golden Retriever / Mixed. Ranger is a friendly, loving, well behaved dog who loves to go for walks, get belly rubs, and give lots of kisses. He walks great on a leash, is potty and crate trained and travels well in the car. He is quiet around the house, and is content laying around near his people, occasionally seeking petting from his people. He gets along well with other dogs (both large and small). He knows sit and stay. He’s friendly toward new people and new dogs. Ranger has severe Glaucoma due to either injury or untreated infection in his right eye, and will be having it removed on 11/9/17. Name: Ranger Sex: Male Breed: Lab/Golden Mix Age: 2 years Weight: 69 lbs on 10/10/17 Spayed/Neutered: Scheduled for 11/9/17 Vaccinations: Up to date Heartworm: Negative Microchipped: Will be before adoption Medical: Ranger has severe Glaucoma due to either injury or untreated infection in his right eye, and will be having it removed on 11/9/17. BASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS: Dogs: Yes- Fine with my 45 lb male and 11 lb male, as well as 70 lb female foster. Cats: Yes- Ignores my indoor cat. Kids: Yes- Lived with 2 early teens. Based on personality, would expect him to be fine with smaller children as well (as long as they don’t mind kisses!) Adoption Donation: 450.00 IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Interested in a specific dog, please fill out an application if you are interested in a dog. The number of individual inquiries is overwhelming and we are finding it difficult to respond to each one. We cannot guarantee you will receive a timely response. Paws New England is a rescue, not a shelter, and as such we do not have our dogs housed in one location - they are in foster homes both in New England and in our southern foster homes. If you're interested in a specific dog, please complete a short online application and you will receive a reply within 48 hours so you can ask questions. At present, if a dog is listed on our website, the dog is considered still available HOWEVER, may have applications that have come in before yours but it's still too early to know if any are a good match; therefore we encourage you to apply. NOTICE WITH REGARD TO LOCATION OF DOGS: Please note: Paws New England is a foster-based rescue. We do not have a brick and mortar building to house the dogs we rescue. We have found that dogs in foster homes are much more adoptable because they have been observed in a home setting. Dogs listed with Paws New England typically reside in various locations throughout the south (primarily Tennessee, Texas, and Arkansas) and New England (not necessarily in the state of Rhode Island). You will be notified by the adoption coordinator of the location of the dog you are interested in so you have the ability to decide whether to pursue adoption or not. Dogs transported to New England are done so at a fee of $150.00 paid directly to the transporting company by Paws New England; no additional transport costs are responsibility of adopter. This fee is included in the adoption donation. Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary. Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your dog will help others in need. All known information about the animal is listed above. We do our best to give accurate information, but most of our dogs are rescues and do not come with a known history. Paws New England abides by the dog importation regulations set forth in the states of MA, CT, NH and RI.

    Breed: Golden Labrador

    Age: Senior
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Golden Retriever / Labrador Retriever / Mixed (long coat). Leah – Female – 8 years old – GRRALL #0640 Update 11/6/17: Leah is a sweetheart, she rarely barks and is very laid back. Leah enjoys going for a walk and loves to be loved on. She is very easy dog and gets along great with foster fur-brother. If you are interested in fostering or adopting Leah please submit an application at https://grralliance.org/applications/adoption-application/ ### Welcome Leah to GRRALL! Our new girl is a Golden/Lab mix, about 8 years old, surrendered to a local high kill shelter when her people decided having a dog was too much responsibility. Leah is heartworm positive and will require treatment, simply because she was not given preventative medicine. She is super sweet and thrilled to be sprung from the shelter; she rode great in the car on her freedom ride to the vet. Leah has the typical golden personality and is happy to start her new life, but this time with people who will love and care for her forever. Leah will receive a full medical check-up, have her heartworm disease accessed and a treatment plan developed, and is already on the road to recovery. We will post more about Leah as we get to know her better. Leah will need a special foster home to keep her safe and quiet during her heartworm treatment. If you are interested in fostering or adopting Leah please submit an application at https://grralliance.org/applications/adoption-application/ GRRALL serves the Dallas-Fort Worth/North Texas area. We do not adopt outside this region and do not ship dogs. If you are out of our area please contact your local Golden Retriever Rescue, local independent adoption groups, shelters, humane society, or other group to find your perfect forever friend.
