    Breed: Labrottie

Posted Breed: Rottweiler / Labrador Retriever / Mixed. Meet Nella! She is a sweet, happy and funny girl who loves walks, playing, going for car rides and of course a good nap. She is very loving, loyal and protective of her human and is OK with kids. She doesn’t like cats and is wary of other dogs and do best as the only pet. She also does well in crates but definitely prefers when she can snuggle on her comfy dog bed near her human. Is Nella your girl? http://www.pawsonthegroundcolorado.com/adoption-application.html

Posted Breed: Labrador Retriever / Rottweiler / Mixed (short coat). Suki has crashed on my couch for seven months. She's almost three now and has progressed from a timid little girl to a confident, friendly woman. She gets along with all dogs, big or small. House and kennel trained. Won't sleep with me at night, but loves to share my recliner during the day. Absolutely loves kids! She gets excited for walks and when she meets other dogs, but a short time out and she's respectful. She needs to find a fur-ever home without a cat. Suki's doption fee includes: rabies vaccination, DHPP vaccination, Bordetella vaccination, de-wormer, 4DX heartworm/tick disease test, spay, flea and tick preventive,(seasonal) heartworm preventive (seasonal) pre-paid micro-chip, and a full veterinary exam. Posted Breed: Rottweiler / Labrador Retriever / Mixed. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please download and complete an Adoption Questionnaire: and email at Ravenr@k-9lifesavers.org You can also find the adoption questionnaire by visiting our website: http://k-9lifesavers.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/2016application.docx-1.docx. You can learn about the adoption process by visiting: http://k-9lifesavers.org/how-to-adopt/. Dog's Name: Indy Estimated Breed : Rottie mix (He looks like a petite rottie with a fluffy tail! - cute!) Approximate Age: ~1 yr Approximate Weight: 48 lbs Currently Living at: Boarding Adoption Fee: $300 DOG'S DESCRIPTION Indy, (aka Dr. Jones) was left behind at the shelter for far too long, and we have no idea why. He is a sweet guy who loves, loves, LOVES other dogs. His dream home will have another dog or three - the more the merrier! He is very playful and would love another fun-loving playmate to entertain him. Indy has done well with dogs of all sizes, but cats are a little too tempting - so a kitty-less home would be best. Indy likes his crate, and he loves toys. He will play with any type of toy, but especially enjoys a good game of tug. Indy can be a little timid when meeting new people. Loud noises can startle him as well. For these reasons, we think he would do best in a home without young children. Once he gets to know you, he is very affectionate and loves scratches and petting. Indy is a young guy who has plenty of energy, but does know how to settle down. His dream home would have a yard where he can romp with his canine siblings, but he could also be happy without a yard as long as he has an active family to keep him entertained. He loves going on walks and with some leash training would make a great jogging companion. Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (for dogs over 6 months old), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets. Benji is an adorable, active 2 year old fella who was overlooked at the Hesperia Shelter. He is all healthy and ready for a foster or forever home now. Benji is an absolute doll! If you are looking for an active walking, running, hiking partner then Benji is your dog. Email dogs@labradorsandfriends.org or fill out our online application at www.labradorsandfriends.org Benji is located in Southern California. In the Beginning: Benji is a sweet, loving, happy, 2 year old lab/rottie mix who was in trouble at the Hesperia Shelter. Benji was getting very sick and was being over looked because he was so mellow in his kennel. Thankfully, he caught our volunteers eye and on Saturday he made his way to our vet. He is currently being treated for an upper respiratory infection, but is already feeling better! Benji is good with other dogs, rides like a champ in the car, knows some basic commands and is good on the leash. He is a strong boy, but listens well and is eager to please. He is super sweet and a big (80 pound) love!

    Sammie

    rescue
    Breed: Labrottie
    Sex: Female Female
    Age: Baby
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Rottweiler / Labrador Retriever / Mixed (short coat). Please contact SSRR (Adoptions@southernstatesrescuedrottweilers.org) for more information about this pet. SSRR provides FREE transport to our approved adopters Sammie, or as we call her, Sam, is a spirited girl at 16 months old. She's made great strides in a year, from being scared of everything to being more interested in the big world. She's a happy, loving girl who loves to play and run with her dog companions. She likes having a companion dog to go outside with and rough and tumble with. She has become the typical teenager, talking back to her humans when she feels she has something to say. Her "roo-roos" are comical and it's hard not to laugh at her vocalizations. She also likes to grab you with her paw to get your attention, meaning she's trying to tell you something. Sam has been learning manners and sits nicely, making eye contact, for her meals and treats. Still in need of some leash training, she wants to pull and wander a bit on walks. She likes her walks, and rides in the car quite nicely. Still a bit shy in meeting strangers, she will warm up to them if they offer her a treat. Sam is house trained and kennel trained and is quite willing to go into her kennel with just a "kennel up" command, but she really likes a peanut butter stuffed Kong, too. She weighs 48 pounds and will probably not get any bigger. She does well with small and large dogs and, though still interested in cats, does not hurt them other than to want to mouth them. A simple "leave it" command works to curb her interest. Sam is well-mannered and has learned many commands. All she needs now is someone to call her own. Special thanks to Erica Abernathy of Memphis Mutts Pet Photography for these wonderful photos of Sammie. Please click on the image below to go to Erica's website. Step 1: Please complete the adoption application in full; incomplete applications WILL NOT BE PROCESSED Step 2: Our Lead Adoption Coordinator will contact you and confirm your application has been received (please use our Contact Us form if you have not gotten a response within 7 days). Step 3: After you have received confirmation from our Lead Adoption Coordinator, your application will then be forwarded to communicate with one of our Adoption Coordinators. The Adoption Coordinator is your point of contact during the adoption process, Step 4: Once the Adoption Coordinator has finished processing your application, a volunteer will be selected to contact you to schedule a home visit. Home visits allow us to see where the dog will live, discuss any questions you have and review our adoption contract. Step 5: Once the application process is completed, the adoption package goes to the board of directors for a 24 hour review. SSRR is very serious about the homes our dogs are placed in and want to ensure they never end up homeless again. If you have any questions, please email us at rottie.info.ssrr@gmail.com . Thank you for your interest in adopting a rescued Rottweiler! If you are interested in adopting this Rottweiler, please fill out an Adoption Application today.

    JAX

    rescue
    Breed: Labrottie
    Sex: Male Male
    Age: Adult
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Rottweiler / Labrador Retriever / Mixed (short coat). Just look at this handsome boy!! Jax was living on the street and was a skinny boy when he came to us and it just took a little TLC from his foster mom and some white rice to turn him into this healthy, handsome boy. He has such an awesome demeanor despite everything he has been through. Jax gets along with cats and dogs. He is about 2-3 years old. He plays like a puppy but is not as hyper as one. We are guessing he is a Lab/Rottie mix. He is house-trained, learning basic commands and a great listener. Jax is located in San Antonio TX but can be transported. Boots is available for adoption with Saving Grace Dog Rescue of San Antonio. The adoption fee is $150.00. An adoption application, home visit and adoption contract are all required. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations appropriate for their age, microchipped, and wormed for internal and external parasites. If you would like more information or an adoption application, please email us at sgdrsa@outlook.com. Please note that visual breed identification in rescue dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only GUESSING at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
