I’ve had the privilege of knowing the dad (also known as Mr. Bear) since puppyhood! He is as sweet as can be and has a more laidback personality. He doesn’t struggle in the manner department (as some larger breed dogs do), and typically greets guests with a calm hello. However, squirrels don’t get such a greeting… he’s still a retriever! But he is very athletic and the perfect family dog.

My dog, Biscuit, has been a phenomenal family and adventure buddy. We have taken her camping, hiking, across rivers, to baseball games, and pretty much everywhere. We also had our first baby, and they are now best friends! She is a sucker for fetch (as she has champion hunting bloodlines in her), and because of her bloodlines, she has a smaller build and shorter hair than the typical golden! So shedding is not too bad for us. She’s been my best friend, and I know her pups will be yours too.
