Posted Breed: Plott Hound / Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat). It is so hard to believe Nash has not been swooped up for adoption! He is now one of our Diamond Dogs, which are the pets we highlight as the Diamond in the Ruff seeking their forever home. His adoption fee has been reduced to $125. Nash was adopted from our program in 2020 and now needs a new home that is a better fit for him. He’s a very loving, affectionate boy, who is both house trained and crate trained. His owner states that he fully believes he is a lap dog, and he enjoys snuggling with her. One of his favorite things is to cuddle up in a heap of blankets or warm sheets from the laundry. He loves to chew on Nyla bones but isn’t much for fetch or other toys. He takes treats gently. Nash would be happy as an only dog as he does feel the need to protect his food. He isn’t a great match for families with small children but is wonderful with teenagers. Nash is heartworm negative, he has been neutered, fully vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and is ready for his forever home. Due to an injury on this tail that continued being re-injured due to his constant tail wagging, we did have to amputate it and now he has an adorable little nub that he is able to wag furiously!
