uch longer than me. We have always run labs and they are truly part of our family. They hunt with us and live with us. They work hard chasing ducks and get spoiled back at home. We have always bought great bloodlines and have our dogs trained. However, we don't do field trials and pursue titles. We just don't have time. Dixie doesn't have a talent problem, she has a handler problem. She has what it takes, but I won't part with her and use a trainer for titles. When we have a great dog, we generally will breed her once and in this case, twice. We love the puppies and our kids love the process. It's great fun. You won't find a more socialized puppy anywhere. Every evening we play with them in the back yard for a couple hours and family and neighbors and friends come over too.
