ppy dog with a solid training foundation for his new family to build upon. He is crate trained, housebroken, knows basic commands, walks well on leash, gets in and out of the car willingly, rides famously, is not destructive when left alone, is good meeting people, cats and other dogs. Brody is pretty much an 'easy keeper.' He loves family time, walks, play dates at dog parks and a soft cushion or couch to relax upon. He is as active as you want him to be; he will happily go on long or short walks and is equally happy to stay indoors and enjoy time with his people. Brody can be 'surprised' by sounds of sudden doors opening, objects dropping, or sudden movements but recovers from the fright quickly and has shown no aggression. His new family must be able to work with this with positive reinforcement and it's expected that the more things he is exposed to more things he will gain confidence. Brody would prefer not to share his food or high value bones with other dogs. This is managed by feeding in separate areas or allowing bones while in the crate only. He is however quite happy to share toys and balls with others at the dog park.
