es, and have free range chickens. The dogs have the run of the large farm, swimming in the lake and running the creek that runs through the old growth forest. We have seven grown German Shepherds, having recently adopted two sisters who suddenly lost their people. Our vet contacted us about taking them in, knowing our love for the breed. They are doing well. Our dogs are Eve, Luke, Lily, Tig, Ren, Tara, and Cass. Ren is a senior at twelve years old. But, he still goes out for long walks and hangs with the group.
Our dogs are healthy, happy and strong. We feed a diet of the finest commercial dog food mixed with our homemade dog food, a cooked mixture of meat vegetables and carbs. The dogs also eat our free range chicken eggs daily. We’ve found that this whole food diet is extending the life and health span of our dogs.
We welcome visits to the farm to meet the dogs. You will likely go home with whatever fruits and vegetables that are in season, and with some fresh eggs.
