Our breeding philosophy goes beyond appearance. We place a strong emphasis on temperament, health, structure, trainability, confidence, handler engagement, and appropriate working drive. We want to produce German Shepherds that represent the versatility of the breed and can thrive as family companions, working dogs, and potential service dog prospects.
Our professional training experience plays an important role in our breeding program. Puppies receive hands-on interaction, structured socialization, exposure to different people, sounds, surfaces, environments, and age-appropriate training experiences as they develop. We also evaluate temperament and behavior to better understand each puppy's individual personality, confidence, drive, and training potential. This helps us make thoughtful matches between puppies and their future families.
Health and responsible breeding are also priorities within our program. We utilize genetic and health testing and continue to build comprehensive health documentation for our breeding dogs. We believe prospective owners should be able to understand the temperament, health, pedigree, and characteristics behind the dogs producing their puppy.
Patriot K9 Command also provides professional dog training, including puppy development, obedience, behavior modification, public-access foundations, and advanced training. This allows us to continue supporting families long after their puppy goes home.
Our goal isn't simply to produce puppies. We want to produce German Shepherds with the health, temperament, confidence, and ability to become exceptional lifelong partners while providing our owners with the knowledge and support necessary to help them succeed.
