Dad is a young Great Pyrenees and Akbash mix. Both are Livestock Guardian Dog (LGD) breeds. The Akbash is a Turkish breed closely related to the Anatolian Shepherd. Apollo is small for the breed, currently about 85 pounds, but still filling out, likely to top around 100-110. He is very friendly, well socialized, and has been raised around children and many animals.

Mom appears to be a Golden Retriever. She is about 65 pounds, six years old, and a first time mother; very sweet, pretty, and smart.
