Anatolian Shepherd-Great Pyrenees Mix Litter of Puppies For Sale in RENO, NV, USA
Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd pups whelped on Valentines Day 2023 out of our multi-generational Working Livestock Guardian Dogs. Dam and Sire were genetically tested and found clear of ALL known breed-relevant hereditary issues. By 3 mos of age our LGDs displayed incredible instincts with livestock and were Full Time LGDs by 6 mos of age (Dam is 6yrs, Sire is 2.5yrs). They are vital to keeping our farm, family and various livestock safe from coyote, Golden Eagle/Hawks, the occasional bobcat, mountain lion and/or even uninvited humans. They are always on guard, but they are also well-mannered, easy going and even goofy with us. Our LGDs do NOT have any aggression, resource guarding or 4-foot fence-respect issues. The pups are already exhibiting future LGD traits. They are very relaxed with goats, our other non-related dogs and children. We are working on their leash training and introductions to chicken, ducks and emu. Qualified lifetime employment is important, so please: Be a homeowner or have permission from your landlord for an XX-LARGE dog. Currently have some type of livestock (chicken, goat, rabbits, etc) for the pup to bond/train with. Have a secure area for your pup, separate from livestock, for when you cannot supervise. Have time to spend daily with the pup on-leash for training/bonding with livestock. DO NOT get a puppy if you need an Adult Dog (predator issues RIGHT NOW). NO shipping unless they specialize in pet/livestock transportation (you arrange and pay for).

Our Sire was DNA tested a found clear of ALL known breed-relevant hereditary issues. (Copies provided via email to new employers)
Our Sire is 75% Anatolian Shepherd/Kangal 12.5% Great Pyrenees and 12.5% German Shepherd.
His AKC Anatolian Shepherd dam (100%) and 50% Kangal/25% Great Pyrenees/25% German Shepherd sire are Working LGDs out of Valley Springs, CA.
At just 4 months old he accidentally had completely unsupervised access to week-old Nigerian Dwarf Goat kids for hours. Not one kid injured in any way. He kept them right near where they came into the adult doe pen from the Nursery pen. I watched how gentle he was (after my initial shock and horror of finding my puppy with kids no more than 3# each), he kept a short 24 inch distance from the kids but also kept the older does away from them.
The husband and I felt pretty damn good about the long drive and money spent on bringing him home - HE IS SO WORTH IT!

She is 100% Great Pyrenees out of Working LGDs on a ranch not too far from us. Our predator load is similar, with several packs of coyote being the biggest issue - but bobcat, mountain lion, Golden Eagle and hawks can also pose a problem, especially to young livestock.
Our dam has always been good with any livestock we've introduced her to - never any problem. She's always patrolling and watchful. She's a fantastic Guardian of everything on our farm and is a world class snuggler too.
