Posted Breed: Australian Kelpie / Cattle Dog. This cute face and great eyebrows belong to MIA! She's 9-months-old and weighs 37 pounds. She's a happy-go-lucky youngster who will win you over in an instant with her adorable face and expressive ears. She loves playing with her toys, sunbathing in the backyard, and getting lots of belly rubs. MIA is very smart and learning a lot in her foster home. She knows Sit and other basic commands and she's eager to learn more. She is very motivated by food which helps with training. She is also crate trained and finishing her house training as she has mastered using the doggy door. MIA has done well meeting other polite dogs and she lives with a similar size, male dog in her foster home. They enjoy playing, and she'll chase balls and entertain herself with toys. MIA enjoys meeting new people and happily greets visitors at her foster home. She's doing well on the leash and she's learning that the car is a good thing. She's looking for a new adventure companion who will take her out and introduce her to new people and places at a comfortable pace. Having a yard and experience with herding breeds is recommended. MIA will do best with adults or possibly older teens - someone who is home often and will provide continued training, regular exercise and activities. MIA lives in Pleasanton, CA.
