Happy to announce that HR Daisy x HRCH UH Ruger MH just had a litter on 8/14/22. 4 healthy males and 3 healthy females. Ruger and Daisy both come from field bred champion level pedigrees, both Ruger and Daisy have hunting retriever titles of their own. These dogs are athletic and active dogs, but also have a great on/off switch when inside, and make great family dogs. Ruger is out of Hunter’s Goldstrike Golden Retrievers. Both of Ruger’s parents have HRCH titles; his dam “HRCH Steep Hill’s Remington of Goldstrike” comes out of “FC AFC Steeple Hill Ranger OS FDHF” and his sire “HRCH UH Heldts Mr Strike 3 Your Out” is in the HRC 1500 Point Club. Ruger has several seasons of hunting under his belt now and has impressed me every step of the way with his train-ability, drive, stamina, natural scenting ability and especially his blind manners. He’s a very patient dog, that is very steady and always has his eyes to the sky in blind. Ruger is a natural, he enjoys hunting both waterfowl and upland birds. He earned his HRC Upland Hunter Title on 3/20/2016, his HRC Hunting Retriever Title on 6/18/2016, and his HRC Hunting Retriever Championship Title on 9/17/2016, earning 3 titles in 6 months. He earned his Master Hunter Title on 9/02/2018, passing 6 consecutive hunt tests in a row.

Daisy comes from a great pedigree out of Wynwood Golden Retrievers and Gold Eagle Retrievers. Daisy’s dam, “Rookie” – Wynwood’s Gold Eagle Heart Breaker JH, comes from champion pedigrees (Sire: FC AFC Glenhaven HTRS MN Baronet MH OS FDHF) x (Dam: SHR, AG1 Wynwood Jokers Last Hoorah UD SH OA OAJ WCX OD AG1). Daisy’s sire, “Copper” – Choctaw’s Yukon Copper Penny MH MNH4 WCX ** OS, is a second generation National Master Hunter with 4 passes in the MNH trials.
Daisy earned her Started Hunting Retriever Title on 8/26/2017 and her Hunting Retreiver Seasoned title on 8/25/2019. Since then she has been working really hard in the marsh, in the field, at training and really becoming a premier hunting dog. Daisy hunted hard last year, duck hunting the Upper Mississippi River and Green Bay last fall, and then running upland hunting clubs from December to March. We plan on pursuing her HRCH title again in the spring & summer of 2023.
