Posted Breed: Rhodesian Ridgeback / Black Mouth Cur / Mixed (short coat). ARPO limits adoptions to within 50 miles of Indianapolis. We do not have a shelter; all pets are in volunteer foster homes. Meet our very sweet G.G.! She is silly, happy and such a Good Girl. :) G.G. enjoys being around people and other dogs. In her foster home, she's learning about crate training (crushing it), potty training (no accidents yet, knock on wood), walking on leash (ooof, it's so much work), and sitting on command (struggling tremendously). It's all new territority for this young gal, but she's doing her best and is eager to please. G.G. was surrendered along with her litter mates to a local Indianapolis shelter in early January 2024. Soon after arrival, they observed her having a "focal seizure." Fortunately, to our knowledge she hasn't experienced any more seizures since that time, but anyone interested in adopting her needs to be aware of the potential. G.G. is approximately 25 lbs. and fully vetted. Per the shelter, she's a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix born around July 2023. Her foster family thinks that her age is correct, but her breeding may be something different. Maybe a Blackmouth Cur mix since she's smaller in size? There's no way of knowing - unless a DNA test is done. ;) G.G. is a great mix of playful, puppy energy and downtime chill. Let us know if you're ready to meet this very sweet Good Girl!
