He was rescued from a family who beat him to make him obey and in his defense, he tried to bite the beater who then wanted to take him outside and shoot him. I WRITE THESE DETAILS TO MAKE THE POTENTIAL ADOPTER AWARE THAT THIS POOR BOY NEEDS SOMEONE, someone with a heart, who will show him unconditional love and that humans can be good. Someone who in a million years would never raise their hands to a defenseless animal. Tucker (Tux) just wants love and acceptance. Tucker is intelligent and with gentle, positive reinforcement, he is the most loving and loyal pup! To a special human who will treat him well and love him like there is no tomorrow, he will be your soulmate! Pupdate: Tucker is now trained to walk on a harness and lead. Knows how to sit and wait and is ready to learn new things. he is such a good boy! Tucker is now on a human-grade dog food diet, he is receiving love galore and is learning there are good and loving people in the world. Tucker will need a fenced yard where he feels safe, do no harm training, unconditional love, and a lifetime commitment. This boy is sweet, loving, cuddly, kind, and willing to learn. He is also reticent, shy, and wary to start but once he trusts he gives his whole heart! . He will need a patient, caring, and kind adopter(s). Update. He has been doing really well since his rescue and is having a blast meeting new dogs and running around in the rescue play yard, going for trail walks with his foster and learning life is awesome!.
