Posted Breed: Boxer / Hound / Mixed. Adoption Fee: 400. Clover (aka “Miss Clover” or “Clover Girl”) is a sweet and affectionate pup that makes us smile and laugh on a daily basis. Her estimated DOB is 3/18/21. She is a low to medium energy dog that is equally happy relaxing with us in the living room as she is going for long walks. Clover is a real lover and a certified sweetheart. One of Clover's favorite activities is getting belly rubs and asks for them politely by rolling on her back when you walk by or lean down to pet her. She also loves resting her head in your lap and staring in your eyes while you rub her ears and scratch her head. When she’s excited to see you or wants cuddles, she curls her body up like a “C” and rubs against your legs while wiggling her butt and furiously wagging her tail. Clover has been through quite a bit in her short life. She has been a mama and has had a few surgeries including a partial tail amputation because of her "happy tail”, a surgery for an intestinal obstruction, and a surgery to repair her knee. She is fully healed and enjoys long walks and playing high speed tag with our resident dog in the backyard. Clover is house trained and crate trained. Her crate filled with her pillow and blankets is her safe and happy space and rests there frequently during the day while we work from home. She is more than happy to sleep in her crate at night. She knows several commands including no, crate, sit, stay, ok (stay release word), down, come, off (furniture), out (we use when we want her out of the kitchen while cooking/eating or out of the office while we’re working), and “leave it”. We have taught her not to fly out doors when leaving the house for walks, to sit and stay for her release word to eat her meals, to stay off beds and furniture, and to walk nicely without pulling on walks.
