Scared and alone mother -to- be Peace was abandoned at the shelter by her owner about to give birth any minute, she delivered four adorable babies four days later on November 25th, Compassion, Forgiveness, Empathy and Connection. The shelter put out a desperate plea for rescue so her babies could be in a warm loving home with their mother. A cold loud shelter is no place for a young family. LHS knew we had to help and stepped up to rescue this sweet mama and her family. This adorable family has been amazing, and it is now time for them to find forever families to love them. Peace is a beautiful female Chihuahua/Terrier mix with soft fluffy black fur that weighs 19lbs. and is 3 years old. She is house and crate trained and loves to sleep in her fluffy bed when she is taking a break from being an amazing mom. Peace is super smart and very sweet; she gets along with all people and other dogs and is great on a leash and loves to ride in the car for adventures. She has weaned her precious babies and is ready to find a family of her very own to love. Peace is looking for a family where she will be a member of the family forever. She has been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. She tested positive for heartworms and received a Proheart12 injection. She will be retested for heartworms in 12 months.
