She went to foster, where she delivered and raised her babies. She is good with dogs of all sizes, but does not care for cats, she will chase. Ashely is 100% housebroken, and uses a doggy door in her foster home. She will need help with leash training since she has been kept in a secure yard due to her fear and shyness. Ashley is a sweet, scared, but gentle soul. Her history is relatively unknown since she came into foster from county. In foster, she had five beautiful, healthy babies and was a perfect momma. Since then, she has been working on trusting humans again, slowly but surely coming around. Ashley has never nipped or growled at anyone. Her instinct is flight, and she is FAST. She is accepting but shy when bamboozled into a bath or a nail trim. She sits for treats; if you’re lucky, she will even stand up on her hind legs to beg. She has vocalized her boundaries with other dogs, but once they back off, she also retreats. She loves to curl up on a couch or bed when she is not outside sunbathing. Ashley has been in a foster home with five adult dogs of all sizes and does like to participate in playtime occasionally. She would do well alone or with siblings. She is a sweet, loving girl and will require a lot of patience, dedication, and love from her forever person/people. Her fosters have become very fond of her and have seen her blossom in the last few months.
