Posted Breed: Great Dane / Mastiff / Mixed. LOCATION: Boerne, Texas DOB: 12/23/2022 (Estimate) Big Boy Moose is coming at ya and he is headed straight for your heartstrings!! This gorgeous fella is a big, lazy boy! The couch is his favorite place to be. He is quiet (as in not a barker), laid back, snuggly, loves attention from people, and is a “roll with the punches” kind of guy. His happy place is hanging out while you do your thing. He has this adorable little nub tail that wiggles his whole butt when he is happy. He likes to talk with little grunts. If you stop petting him he will pull your blanket back with his teeth and gently grab your arm and bring it back to him. He loves to lean and be as close to his people as possible. When he sleeps next to you, he will put his paw in your hand for comfort. For car rides, he will lay his head on the center console and he hops in and out without issue. He is easy to leash up and walks pretty well but he is strong so when he wants to see something, he will try to pull his way there. Moose free roams at his foster’s but he has been boarded/kenneled and did fine. He is completely house-trained and will say when he needs to go outside. If someone is home with the door closed, he will lie on the other side and whine to let you know you forgot about him. But at night, he is in his own room and sleeps like a baby. Moose is pretty indifferent to other dogs, both adult and puppy. He wiggles his nub, and sniffs, but doesn’t really engage in play. He tends more to stare, which may seem offputting to other dogs. He has not met a cat and does not seem to exhibit any prey drive. He has not been around kids, but besides the heavy leaning, would not anticipate it being a problem. Moose is a loving, loveable lug. His ideal family is pretty much anyone who likes big, goofy, and chill guys.
