Posted Breed: Shepherd / German Shepherd Dog / Mixed. Joyful Jazzy, a true dog of the north, loves prancing about in the snow and eating it! This playful 19-month-old pup is 35 pounds of sweetness and silliness and is seldom seen without one of her toys in her mouth as she follows her foster mom through the house. Friendly and affectionate, she loves cuddling and snuggling with her, resting her head on her and rolling over for belly rubs, acts gently towards the two resident youngsters and gets along well with other equally friendly dogs. Fond of ice cubes -- yes, ice cubes -- playing fetch and going for walks, she’s endlessly curious, walking best with a no-pull harness to curb her enthusiasm. Jazzy’s favorite toy so far is a squeaky tennis ball, while bully sticks seem to be her favorite treats, and speaking of treats, she accepts all of them gently. Motivated by food, love and toys, she’s currently working on “come,” “stay”, “off,” “down” and “leave it,” is crate trained and almost fully house-trained. Now Jazzy is eager to bring joy to a loving family that will patiently perfect her puppylike manners, complete her training, including her commands, and keep her mentally and physically satisfied fur-ever. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application received in the order they're submitted and will contact you within 48 hours (please check your spam folder for our emails) . If your home sounds like a good match for you and the pet, we will connect you with our dogs' foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a "meet and greet" is set up. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to finalize the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives! A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you. The adoption fee for this pet is $300. Our adoption fee covers the following: Spay/neuter Microchip DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for all DAPP boosters after adoption.
