Posted Breed: German Shepherd Dog / Mixed. Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VT Good with dogs: Yes, with proper intros Good with cats: Yes, dog-savvy cats Good with kids: Yes Crate trained: Yes House Trained: Yes Maxie is the most gentle and well-behaved girl. She is on the lower enegery side and loves to cuddle up with a bone and just hang out. She will occasionally play wrestle with another dog inside and loves to run around outside with other dogs. She does great with dogs as long as she has a proper introduction. She's fantastic with kids, she doesn't jump up or run into them and gently takes treats from them and lets them rub her head and ears. She pretty much ignores cats that she has been around. She is crate trained and house trained and if she needs to go she will pace by the door. She walks almost perfect on a leash and rarely pulls. Maxie truly is the perfect dog and will be a great addition to any family. Please Note: All dogs currently available for adoption are posted on our website. If you cannot find a particular dog on our website, he/she may be on a temporary foster hold. All dogs are otherwise posted until they are officially adopted.
