Golden Pyrenees Litter of Puppies For Sale in ELLENBORO, NC, USA
Sunshine's puppies were born 12/21/2019. They have been raised on their mother's milk and lots of love from their human family. They are bred to protect and not attack and are kid and livestock friendly. Being Golden Pyrenees, some of the puppies favor their Golden Retriever maternal grandam, and Golden Pyrenees dam, while others favor their paternal Great Pyrenees sire and grandsire. Chickens, Great Pyrenees livestock guardian dogs and our miniature horse are all familiar to them as well as lots of nature in our Appalachian foothills rural environment. All can serve as human companions, but the puppies that favor their Great Pyrenees sire would also be well-suited to guard backyard chickens or livestock.

Pearl carries the slightly golden tone of the Golden Retriever while being only one of two in the litter to have the double dew claw from her Great Pyrenees father. She has an exceptionally sweet personality and would make an excellent companion or livestock guardian dog.

Father
Henry is a Great Pyrenees and is a gentle giant. His closest companion is the miniature horse he protects day and night. He now also protects the puppies when their mother is taking a break. It is not uncommon to see him playing with the puppies or them climbing all over him. Although he could easily dig out, he has never run away from home or the animals he protects.
Mother
Sunshine has a Golden Retriever mother and Great Pyrenees father. She comes to us from a farm in Arkansas. Her main role is a companion dog, but is also a good guardian to our free-range chicken flock with special attention to watching the sky for chicken hawks. She is as loyal as they come and enjoys short walks or hikes for miles with the family in the mountains.
