Golden Pyrenees Litter of Puppies For Sale in ELLENBORO, NC, USA
Sunshine's puppies are especially suited as a companion dogs -- gentle but protective whether for a family or an individual. The guardian dog traits make them more docile and patient than a Golden Retriever, while having plenty of stamina for walks around the neighborhood or long backpacking treks in the wilderness. Our puppies are raised on our homestead as our own dogs in our house and right outside our front door, not in a dog kennel. They are played with several times each day and are accustomed whippoorwill calls at night to the bleats of our goats and cackle of our chickens during the day.
All puppies have been examined by a veterinarian, are current with deworming, and have completed their puppy vaccinations through 16 weeks.
A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a puppy. Before we will accept a deposit would like to know a little about you and your preparedness for adopting this unique breed mix. Adoption Questions: homesteadoaks/adoption-questions

Stromboli is very affectionate and gentle. He likes to stay close when taking a walk, loves to be petted and talked to, and he is very eager to please. He does very well with sitting and shaking, and he is being leash trained.

Father
Moses favors the Great Pyrenees confirmation but he is half Great Pyrenees and half Anatolian Shepherd making him an Anatolian Pyrenees. We see this mix as an advantage to add additional black pigmentation that is often lost when using a purebred Great Pyrenees. Moses has a very friendly disposition and is a full time livestock guardian for goats and cattle.
Mother
Sunshine has a Golden Retriever mother and Great Pyrenees father. She comes to us from a farm in Arkansas. Her main role is a companion dog, but is also a good guardian to our free-range chicken flock with special attention to watching the sky for hawks. She is as loyal as they come and enjoys short walks or hikes for miles with the family in the mountains.
