Simmons' Gorgeous Goldens are raised by a big family with lots of love and pampering. These puppies are so smart! They already come on command; some have learned to sit on command, and most consistently use a pee pad when not outdoors.
The sire, Rimshot, is a 3 year old, medium-red boy, who loves fetch more than food! He likes to help keep the pups clean or snuggle with them when they have taken naps outdoors.
The Dam, Biscuit, has been an incredible first time mother. Nine pups can be overwhelming, but she has been patient, gentle, and attentive. When the litter goes outside to play, she manages to keep an eye on them all. If one or two go too far away , she goes after them, then does a quick scan of the yard, as if counting all the others.
Maple, Biscuit's sister, has been a fun Auntie. She loves to play with the pups, rolling balls to them with her nose, and doesn't seem to mind that they are lately trying to eat her big-girl dog food! Nine against one...the pups are bound to win!
These puppies have had continual socialization opportunities, both with the dogs and with our large family and holiday guests.
Pups are are vaxxed, dewormed and will soon be ready to join YOUR FAMILY. They are eight weeks old on 1/14 and ready for your cuddles!.

Pinky is the smallest of the litter. She's also among the three lightest color pups. Her big eyes just pop against her little white face. We call her Diva because she was the first to discover her voice. When some of the other pups still had not opened their eyes, she let out the cutest little "Roo-ooo-ooo," and a singer was born! From time to time, when I first meet them in the mornings, she will let out her little song-like "howl" for lack of a sweeter, more fitting word, instead of a bark or excited yap like the others. She is so distinct both in looks and sound from the rest of the pack! Her fur is very pale, almost white, and her ears are only slightly golden, which suggests she might have a lighter-gold adult coat than her siblings.

Father
A tall, light-red golden who loves fetch more than food! Rimshot is a mild mannered, quiet boy. Once he acclimated to the pups, he began helping Mama Biscuit keep the babies clean and use the bathroom after feeding. After a few weeks, they would follow Dad to the potty spot in the yard.
Mother
A standard golden coat and frame. Of all our adult goldens, she is the most obedient and intuitive to what her humans want. She has been an attentive, and instructive first-time mama. As one very impressive example, once she noticed that we put the puppies into the kennel immediately each time we come in from outdoors, (gotta count them all!) she would help us gather any pups that escaped through the house. She'd stop the pup, gently hold them in place, then give a little bark to tell us to come put them in the kennel. She also kept an eye on all nine when outdoors, as if she was constantly counting them! Though Biscuit is younger than our Sire, she definitely knows how to lead the pack. Since she was a pup she would challenge him for toys, whereas our other golden wouldn't. It's their favorite game: who can mouth the toy longest before the other relents and finally lets go! Biscuit is the gentle, but definite alpha dog in our home. Super smart girl!
