He will be very light colored to white with a substantial bone structure and a very large blocky head. We anticipate him to be 23-24 inches tall and weigh between 65-75 lbs. That is right within the breed standard for English Golden Retrievers. We believe the best parents make the best puppies. Both mom and dad have their health clearances and they both are also genetically clear for Ichthyosis, a horrendous skin issue that plagues many golden retrievers these days. Thus, the puppies are also genetically clear for Ichthyosis. The parents are also clear for Congenital Ichthyosis 1 (Ich1), Congenital Ichthyosis 2 (Ich2), Congenital Myasthenic Syndrome (CMS), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM), Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis (NCL), Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA1), Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA2), Progressive Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRCD), Sensory Ataxic Neuropathy (SAN). Additionally, they have good hips, eyes, hearts, and elbows. We selectively do planned breeding with a purpose. We will be keeping one ourselves for training for the possibility of another therapy dog in the future. We have trained and assisted training many therapy dogs over the past several years and plan to continue to do this. It is our passion and when we meet, we can discuss how this all came about. Therapy dogs we have trained or assisted with can be seen working in West Los Angeles and up and down the West Coast. My wife and I have had many Champion Goldens and been active with the breed for more than 20 years. This is your opportunity to take advantage of what we have learned and get a great golden for yourself. What you can expect from us. All puppies will be eating Fromm Gold Large Breed Puppy Formula Dry Dog Food before they are ready to go home. A 5lb bag of the Fromm Puppy Food will be included with them to continue our feeding regimen if you come to pick up your puppy or if we meet up, but not if we ship the puppy. Each puppy will be registered with AKC and will be microchipped with AKC Reunite, and you will get the papers to register them with AKC Reunite to help you get your puppy back should you become separated. They will also all have a Health Certificate issued by our veterinarian within 7 days of their adoption date along with their first shot and all age-appropriate deworming.
