Chunk (purple collar) – This big boy was my favorite from Day One. Named after Chunk from the Goonies, this light blonde golden boy, loves to eat, swaggers around the room bothering everyone to see who's up for some fun and games. Although he started out as the biggest, he now stands in the middle of the pack. He’s the first to get to the food dish, but kindly leaves while the others eat, then comes back to lick the bowl clean. He’s truly a gentleman that looks out for the group. He’s active but a lovable cuddle-bug who will do anything to sleep in your lap. And his favorite pass time is to play with his dad.

Out of five generations of golden retrievers. CJ is my favorite. He is the most gentle and loving golden possible. His goofy behavior when he slides off the couch, or crawls into my side of the bed is laughable (CJ girl, Andi, and Chunk). He plays in the water whenever possible (Dez, Sidney), but will cuddle with you when it is time to relax (Elsa). CJ is 1-½ years old and is friends with every dog, cat, bird, squirrel and lizard in the neighborhood. Honestly, I was disappointed he was red when I got him but he has turned out to be extremely handsome with the best personality possible. He is a gentle giant.

Cassie is one of the happiest mammas out there. She is the first to great you at the door (Elsa, Andi, Big Red) with a toy, shoe, sock, or piece of paper in her mouth. Retriever to the bone, she happily delivers Amazon envelopes to you before she shreds up the plastic package. But, beware of her tail, known to knock glasses off the table, or bruise your knees because she is so happy to see you (Taylor, Andi). But don’t play tug-o-war with her because she will win (Chill, Sidney). She is a 1-½ year light blonde golden that is cautious but playful, loyal to a fault.
