I am Kason my veterinarian says that I’m about 5yrs old and I weigh 115lbs I am a pure breed Great Dane. Like most in my breadline I am handsome & have strong temperament traits of being gentle, calm, quiet, loving, confident & devoted to my family. Don’t let my size fool you although I am a big boy when you take me for morning/evening walks I will not drag you on my leash, I will stroll respectfully & confidently besides you after I get used to you. Everyone along the way will give us love on our walks I will ignore humans, cats squirrels and most any other critters we may cross just keep me on the opposite side of other dogs they tend to over-react because I think they are jealous of my good looks & strong dignified gate. I am very well house trained and mannerable, I will wait patiently until you let me out to my fenced backyard to do my business. During the day I lay quietly in the hallway looking out the window while my foster dad works in his home office he tells me I am such a good boy because I never bark or create a commotion he tells me he doesn’t even know I’m in the house because I’m so reserved. He also says I would make a perfect companion dog. Don’t worry about me jumping up on you I already know I’m too big to be a lap dog but as long as you rub my ears or stroke my belly regularly I will give you lots of love. They tell me I’m smart because I respond to basic commands of “down, stay, sit & come” I’m willing to learn more if you teach me. If you take me for rides I will joyfully jump into any open car or truck door & will keep you company until I get sleepy. Come adopt me quickly because I’m ready for my furever home & I promise to bring all of my good manners & behavior with me!! Background: Kason almost didn't make it out of a rural shelter. We jumped into action to save his precious life. He's approximately 5 years old. Best home would be with a family who has Great Dane experience. He is a gentle giant.. He's a sweet and sensitive boy. He is neutered/microchipped, dental was recently done and has been fully vaccinated and is on flea and heartworm prevention. He needs to be only dog...no small animals or cats!!! Fenced in Yard is preferred. Kason’s adoption fee is $400 - obedience training is required after adoption Obedience training is also required for all our pups.
