Posted Breed: Chihuahua / Jack Russell Terrier / Mixed. Adoption Fee: 450. Say hello to Barley! Barley was found as a stray in Texas. Sweet and playful, Barley's a joy to be around. While he may test the boundaries of his new digs in the early days, he's a fast learner and will settle into his new routine soon enough. With a love for playtime, he'll thrive in a home with some open space to stretch his legs and would love to join his family on all of their adventures. Barley's a social butterfly who gets along famously with dogs of all sizes, though he prefers a slow introduction to his new furry friends. He's crate trained and eats his meals in his kennel and loves water, he will happily lap it up during playtime. A typical day for Barley involves morning potty breaks, lunchtime munchies, and plenty of play and naptime in between. He's a cuddle bug at heart, often standing on his hind legs to soak up some affection. For Barley, the ideal home would have another playful pooch and plenty of open space for him to explore. If you're ready for a loyal companion who's always up for a good time, Barley might just be the perfect match for you. Barley currently lives with big and small dogs, cats and adults. Barley isn't aggressive towards cats, but does bark at them. Barley is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 3/9/2024 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 5:30pm and 8:30pm. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame. Since they haven’t arrived yet, they are available exclusively through Ruff Start’s Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Click here to learn more about the FTA program. Once they get to Minnesota, they might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start’s veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments.
