Mom, Josey is an American black AKC registered lab. Her mom was a field trial champion. Mom is very athletic and a dedicated retriever. She is amazing during dove and duck season. She seems to live for fetching a ball or retrieving birds. She has a true natural instinct. Her agility, speed, and intelligence are unbelievable. It is beautiful watching her work. Dad, Huck is a yellow English lab. He is not AKC registered so the puppies will not be able to be registered. He has an amazing personality and is the perfect family dog. He is incredibly affectionate and thinks he is a lap dog. He loves hunting squirrels and frogs more than retrieving birds. He is the perfect companion dog - happy just lounging around all day or out playing/working all day on the farm. They have been great country dogs and family dogs. We have had mom and dad since they were puppies, and they are our family dogs. They live both inside and outside. We all live on a farm with cows, ducks, chickens, cats, and a horse and several ponds so they have lots of room to run and play. Our 10 year old daughter and her friends are always cuddling and playing with them. These puppies are very well loved and played with while they are here. I work hard with these puppies to give you a great puppy. I believe in working on socialization early to help curb problems later on. It is a reason I insist on keeping them until 8 weeks old because I believe a lot is learned from being with their litter mates and mom between 6-8 weeks in regards to bite inhibition and improving social skills. My husband is a hunter so they will be introduced to that training as we work with mom. They will also be well introduced to water with all our ponds and their own little puppy swimming pool. We work hard to give them a great start, and hopefully you will see the benefits when they join your family. We would love for you to come and see them. We are located east of Dallas but we can meet in Dallas or McKinney area.
Items Included: Dewclaws removed. Deworming done every 2 weeks. First vaccinations done at 8 week vet visit.

Scarlett is the biggest female of the litter. She is adventurous, inquisitive, playful but also easy going. She follows our daughter around everywhere and even tolerates being dressed in doll clothes like she enjoys it. I think she will make a great family dog and hunting dog. She is showing amazing potential and a great combination of her mom and dad's personalities.
