Beautiful AKC Black Lab pups. We have had this bloodline of Labrador Retrievers for 45 years, going back to 1974 when I was just 13 years old and I bought my first Lab puppy. We have kept the female side of the bloodline since 1974 and this litter of puppies is now the 11th generation down from my first Labrador. Over the years, when choosing stud dogs to mate with our female Labradors, we have always sought out and chosen stud dogs which have the characteristics which we want to breed into our bloodline. We have always chosen stud dogs which exhibit a high degree of intelligence and which have nice blocky heads and broad chests. Also, we always use stud dogs which have their hips and eyes certified. Among the many Field Champions in our bloodline is the famous “Ebonstar Lean Mac,” who, before he passed away, had sired more U.S. Field Champions than any other Labrador Retriever in history. Our Labrador bloodline also includes the well-known and popular “Hayseed” line of Labrador Retrievers. The many Field Champions in our Labrador bloodline include Grand Master Hunters, Master Hunters, U.S. and Canadian Field Champions, and Amateur Field Champions. We can show you pictures of the previous 10 generations of the puppies’ female ancestors, as well as some of their male ancestors. You can also take a look at the puppies genealogy, which we have going clear back to the 1950’s. Because the genealogy of this litter’s stud dog contains more Master Hunters and Field Champions than any previous stud dog which we have ever used, this litter is definitely the most champion-pedigreed litter in my history of breeding Labrador Retrievers. Stud dog (Gage). His father and all four of his grandparents are Master Hunters. Also, he has over a dozen Field Champions among his great grandparents and great great grandparents.

Our female (Lumiya). There are literally dozens of Grand Master Hunters, Master Hunters, and Field Champions in her genealogy which we can show going back 70 years to the 1950s. We have owned her bloodline for 45 years, going back 11 generations to 1974. We have loved and appreciated the qualities of all of our Labrador Retrievers over the years; however, Lumiya is definitely the most intelligent dog we have ever owned.
