Fantasia, or Fanta for short, is all about the snuggles and playtime – she's not one to be cooped up in a kennel. At home, Fanta's a bed hog who loves nothing more than curling up for a good snuggle session. She's a social butterfly, always ready for attention whenever someone's around. With other dogs, she's a playful pal who enjoys romping around and chasing toys. During the day, Fanta and her furry buddies have the run of the house while their foster family is at work. Fanta's free to explore the backyard at will and absolutely loves her daily walks – she can easily go the distance, clocking in at about 3-4 miles. She may zig-zag a bit on her walks, because Fanta's an explorer at heart who enjoys taking in all the sights and smells. Fanta's a toy enthusiast who's still working on her fetch game – she's not always great about bringing the toy back, but she's getting there. And when it comes to treats, she's a pro at standing on her hind legs for a tasty reward. Rescued from a shelter in Texas, Fanta quickly warmed up to her Texas foster home and loves nothing more than being picked up for a quick snuggle before heading off to play. With her boundless energy and affectionate nature, Fanta would fit right in with an active family who's ready for some playtime followed by snuggles. If you're looking for a loyal companion who's always up for an adventure, Fanta might just be the perfect match for you. Fantasia currently lives with big and small dogs and adults. She has not been introduced to cats. Fantasia is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 3/9 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 5:30pm and 8:30pm. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame. Since they haven’t arrived yet, they are available exclusively through Ruff Start’s Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Click here to learn more about the FTA program. Once they get to Minnesota, they might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start’s veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments.
