Maremma Sheepdog Litter of Puppies For Sale in THORN HILL, TN, USA
We have four (4) new Christmas Maremma Sheepdog puppies! They were born December 1, 2021. There are three (3) girls and one (1) boy.
Sire is Guido Maximo, registered with the Maremma Sheepdog Club. Dam is Lily, unregistered, but DNA tested to be 100% Maremma.
This is Guido and Lily's fourth litter together, and each of their puppies has been outstanding.
The puppies stay on our mountain farm for at least one extra month so they can learn their craft of Livestock Guardianship. The farm has sheep, horses, pigs, chickens, geese, and ducks.
Items Included: Microchipped, first veterinarian examination, first puppy shots, health record book.

Father
Guido was born in 2018. He's a purebred Maremma Sheepdog, and is registered with the Maremma Sheepdog Club, the official register for Maremmas in the USA. Guido Maximo has a wonderful disposition, and is a big, BIG boy, perhaps 135 pounds, if not more. He's very athletic, and as the Alpha Dog, roams our farm and protects our animals and us. He has cute freckles on his stomach. He's kind to all his puppies, and is a terrific dog. He's very affectionate, and loves to be with his people.
Guido decided he wanted to lie down with me when I was trying to nap.
Mother
Lily was born in 2017. We bought both her and her litter-mate and sister, Grettu, from a ranch in Kansas. Both girls are wonderful Livestock Guardian dogs. They once protected a lost goat that that gone into the forest after being pursued by a mountain lion. The two stayed on each side of the frantic goat for three nights, until we found them. She is a terrific mother, and is very protective of her babies. Grettu stays near Lily's doghouse, and helps protect the pups. Lily is not registered, but she was DNA tested, and is 100% Maremma. One lady who bought a boy from a previous litter had him DNA-tested, and he, too, was (of course) 100% Maremma. This photo is Lily in her doghouse, two days after giving birth. You can see how happy she is.
