This is our "Dahlia"! She is a sweet and stunning female blue merle Mini Australian Shepherd. Dahlia was born on March 26 with her 3 sisters and one brother. They will be ready for their furever homes on May 21. Dahlia seems like she is going to be a heart melter. She already is enjoying all the attention she can get and gives nose kisses! At 3 weeks old it currently appears that her eyes will be blue or marbled blue/brown. Pricing at this time is based on that - note that if the eyes turn brown prior to adoption the price is reduced to $1500. We are Buttwiggler Mini Aussies and are located in the Hudson Valley region of NY. Both parents are our pets and loves and live with us 24/7. We are not a mass breeder or kennel, we simply adore our dogs and enjoy sharing them and their beautiful pups with the world. Contact us for more information!

Barney Buttwiggler - Our handsome boy Barney is a striking Red Tri Mini Aussie. He is a solid and sturdy fellow. Barney stands about 17.5" to the shoulder and weighs about 28 pounds. He is a mush and a goof. We crack up about how much of a "boy" he is. He is the kind to constantly jump over the last few stair steps, and throws his own toys around to amuse himself and others (or just to show he can do it!). In fact we think his catch phrase would be "HEY! Watch what I can do!" Handsome Barney has one gorgeous light blue eye and the other one half light blue/half hazel. He has a lot of energy, is very playful, and really, really loves to be loved. Barney is a great protector, but he is also one to quickly warm up to strangers and make new friends once he knows they are "okay". Then its all about playing and loving. Such a sweetheart Barney is!!

This is our beautiful Betty Buttwiggler. Light boned and athletic, Betty catches frisbees and balls and likes to chase pretty much anything that moves! She stands about 16" to the shoulder and weighs about 21 pounds. She is a gorgeous blue merle with marbled blue and brown eyes. Betty is smart as a whip too. "I'll do that for a treat!" might be her catch phrase and she will start twirling, playing dead, shaking paw, plus all of your basics - she just loves to show off. Betty is also ruler of the roost. Betty is protective and can be reserved around new people (especially when she has her puppies around her - she's proven to be a wonderful Momma!) but she steals the hearts of everyone she loves. Just look at that beautiful and feminine face! In a world full of dogs - Betty is truly unique.

Overview:
The Miniature Australian Shepherd is a well-balanced dog of medium size and bone. He is attentive and animated, showing strength and stamina combined with unusual agility. Slightly longer than tall, he has a coat of moderate length and coarseness with coloring that offers variety and individuality in each specimen. An identifying characteristic is his natural or docked bobtail. In each sex, masculinity or feminity is well-defined. Bone is moderate and clean with coarseness, heaviness or lightness being undesirable. Overall type, balance of conformation and movement are valued more highly than individual structural perfections because it is balance which enables him to fulfill his purpose.
